Monster Blood booboo

I started to read this book but couldn't finish it. I think the author is trying to make the reader empathize with the main character through his innocence and naiveté, but the author went too far. This kid is number than a hammered thumb. I felt bad for him when he made his first mistakes but after a while I started to think this kid is too stupid to breath. Maybe I should have continued to read and seen him grow through his trials and tribulations but I couldn’t connect with the character. I started to cheer for the monsters. <eg>. This is just my opinion. Others may enjoy this book. Give it a try. 1  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

I will admit that this book was a little hard to get into, but it was really good. I think that it has some good lessons and I can not wait to read it with my book for kids. I also liked this book for its challenges such as haveing to read the glossary at the end at the same time to fully understand the authors ideas. Do you find this valuable?
