I discovered this fantastic cookbook, The Cake Mix Doctor and I have been working my way through the luscious coffeecakes, tempting chocolate cakes, sinfully gooey cakes… You have to try the Holy Cow Cake. Don’t even get me started on the frostings. I have always been a “frosting out of the can” kind of girl until this book. The recipes are simple and easy, the results are fabulous. The frosting is so good you will want to eat it plain, and many people seem to do just that. (Don’t think I didn’t notice all the finger marks on the frosting guys) If you do any baking at all your families will thank you for bringing home this book, unless of course, they are dieting. Excellent for beginning bakers, adventurous bakers, and bakers who just want to have fun.
