I just finished reading it a few days ago for a book project in my freshman english class. I personily loved the book. I found myslef reading this book a lot. Im normally not much of a reader, but this one really got me hooked. I think that its a great book and deffently worth reading. Its funny, sad at points, and also full of drama. so if your into teenage drama books you'll probbuly like it.

Ok, I am new to this, so take it easy on me! I just typed onto your web page to see what my local libaray has (cause it's way to early for you to be open!) and saw this link. Sweet! But...where are all the entries?! I guess I get to be 1st. ::::shivers in excitement:::: I am very much a rabid reader, devorouring books whenever I get a spare minute. I have, for the last two years, done so mostly with my E-reader. (makes traveling much easier then carrying a suitcase full of books. I belong to a writing club too, so that takes some of my reading time. Anyway....I have read 'The Time Traveler's Wife' again, it's a great book...read it before you see the movie. <grin> (or after is good too...) I have been into 'classics' this summer, not sure why. But 'Jane Eyre' and 'Wuthering Heights' have set my romantic nature soaring and 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' kept me up there laughing. My Goddaughter and I have read 'Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm' (fiting, as she is a Rebecca too!) and are nearing the end of 'Watership Down'....There have been many others, as it has been a long rainy summer....perfect for curling up with a good book.
Ok....I'll shut up now...what are YOU reading?!?

This book was amazing! Normally I don't like books that are seperated into different characters point's of view because it can get confusing, but in this book everything fit together perfectly! It was kinda scary to think that something like this could happen in the future, but that just made it more interesting, to see how people could cope.
This book is about a society where unwanted kids are salvaged for their body parts. Kids chosen to be taken apart (eww) are called Unwinds. The story is told from Connor, Risa, and Lev's point of view, they are scheduled to be Unwound, but they are on the run.

i agree. i loved this book so much i FORCED two of my friends to read it, and they loved it just as much as i did. i am amazed by Neal's ability to blend stuff from multiple viewpoints togethor seamlessly. in one part, the three are in a bathroom, lev sneaks off, and Risa hears "next time wear a dress" from one of the girls going into the bathroom with another girl. she thinks they were having a conversation but she was talking to lev, and you don't find that out until Lev's point of view on that subject

NEVER READ THIS BOOK! There is no plot to the book. There is so much detail, too much detail. It is one of those books where you read and don't get what is going on and when you get a summary it is like "I read this, I don't remember this, do you?" LAME LAME LAME LAME BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriouly, this is not one of those I didn't read the book so I'll just tell a lie to all these people. DON'T WASTE YOU TIME!!!!!!!!!!

Uh, yeah, you nailed yourself totally . . . and anyone who's read the book would know that. You may not like the book, but it has a full plot and terrific character development. Too much detail? /me thinks you need to go back to your video game sound bites. beep beep beep, boop boop boop, beep.

Well I might as well divulge at first that I am a King fan to the bone. Ever since I picked up the shining in the high school Library in seventh grade I was hooked. I'm a bit older now (37) and he's still my fave, but on to the book. I recently re-read it as I will do with many books I really like. Nothing new to read, go back to one of my golden oldies. I would agree it has a slow take off for some, but I love to have the whole sceen laid out for me, so later when something happens, I know more of where it's comming from. I really loved it though, and if you are much of a King fan, you might know that he has three or four short stories that are 'kin' to this novel. If he would write a part two to anything, I wish it would be this, but maybe I feel more strongly now that were in the Halloween season. A great read especially for this time of the year!!

I liked the girls in the book and what everyone was doing. I also liked it that the girls in the book talked to each other even when they went to different places they still wrote letters to each other.
